After Creta, Verna is all set to use drive train of Kia Seltos . Kia is creating new benchmarks everyday, Now the South Korean giants planing to launch their much awaited MPV i.e; Carnival. Meanwhile their huge success Seltos is already ruling the Indian streets. Now the Hyundai is planing is to take 1.5 lt drive train to Verna also, let me update you that same drive train will come for 2020 Creta.
As every manufacture is upgrading their engine standards to BS 6, Hyundai India also wants to launch Verna Auto Expo in BS 6 variant. The BS6 Hyundai Verna petrol will come with same Kia seltos 1.5 L configuration. This BS6-ready Seltos gasoline unit makes power worth 115bhp with 144Nm of torque. As Seltos is already providing mileage of 18-20 in highways, it can be huge success for Verna.
The new BS6 petrol engine for will come as a replacement to their existing BS4 1.4L and 1.6L petrol engines that was delivering 100bhp and 123bhp respectively. So we are expecting a good upgraded product from Hyundai in form of Verna. 2020 can bring a huge success for the Koreans as Creta and Verna both are ready to launch arround Mid of 2020.
In Chinese market Verna is available in 1.4 and 1.6 L , with manual and CVT transmission. So we are expecting that Verna will be launched in 1.5 L with Manual and CVT transmission.
